CRIME update for July 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Radford West Police beat area during the month of July.
Burglaries residential = 1 26/07 Garfield Road – Suspect has entered property via unlocked door, been spooked and fled on foot.
Criminal damage = 6 07/07 Ilkeston Road – Male suspect has broken off front door handle to property. 07/07 Alfreton Road – Wooden door panel kicked in and broken as suspects gain access to closed abandon food store Dunkin' Donuts. 10/07 Garfield Road – Suspect has used a tool/implement to cause a scratch to the paintwork of a vehicle whilst parked secure in open air car park. 11/07 Norton Street – Suspect has thrown a wine glass at vehicle causing car window to smash. 17/07 Ilkeston Road – Following a verbal argument over parking, upon returning has found vehicle has been keyed and covered in food and drink. 18/07 Alfreton Road – Front door has been intentionally kicked in causing significant damage.
Theft of motor vehicle = 1 21/07 Norton Street – Bike lock snapped and motorbike stolen from car park.
Theft from vehicle = 1 17/07 Leroy Wallace Avenue – Vehicle broken into whereby Apple AirPods, charging lead, bank cards and CDs stolen from within.
